My first Theatrical role was Wally in my High School Play: “The Impossible Years” in 1968. I played the role of the Ranger in Dustin Ferguson’s movie “Terror at Black Tree Forest” and the sequel “Return to Black Tree Forest.” I was Jeb in Epic O’s short film “Community Watch.” I was a Family Therapist for years which is one of the higher forms of performance art . . . I manage a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for adolescent boys, where I have worked for over 25 years. My beautiful partner Jackie and the adventures we have. I love acting, the outdoors, and living for today . . . I elected to act in the Wolf’s Robe because of my past experience with A.J. and Carissa. I have found them to be talented, creative, and exceedingly hard working . . . It has been both a rewarding and learning experience. I’ll remember most the sparkle that comes to A.J.’s eyes when he is being creative and has a new idea. He and Carissa are truly inspirational! |
Full Bio: Ben Gothier (In his own words)
This is Ben Gothier's first full length movie, playing Sheriff Daniels. Previously, he was in a short film called The Chase and he's been in a few commercials over the years, but the majority of Ben's acting experience is in theatre. He's been in over 60 play productions, (too many to include here) but some highlights include: Eddie in Rocky Horror Show, Amos Hart in Chicago, Danny Zuko in Grease, Noah Curry in The Rainmaker, Narrator in The Good Doctor, Mortimer in Arsenic and Old Lace, Judge Brack in Hedda Gabler, Jack in Leading Ladies, Charlie in The Tender Trap, Clifford in Deathtrap, Tony in Dial M for Murder, Ebenezer Scrooge in Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge and Teddy in When You Comin' Back Red Ryder. Ben has a 16 year-old son and currently works in customer service. Acting is Ben's passion that he hopes to fully devote himself when his son is grown, but he also enjoys singing, cold fall days and loves spending time with his son. Ben has been trying to break into film for a very long time and is forever grateful to Epic O productions for including him in their production of The Wolf's Robe. "It has been a blast working with the cast and crew of The Wolf's Robe. I have met so many interesting people and have forged some great friendships. Every day on the set was a wonderful experience, but I would say my favorite scene was my character's confrontation with Victor Hunt out by the fence. There was a nice cool breeze that day (not super hot like previous days) and it was such a dramatic, tense scene. I got to show off a wonderful range of emotions which I loved."
